We have started the house training. He will need time to settle in his new home with your guidance to complete this.

We expect you to continue to feed your dog a healthy diet and exercise that is suitable for its age.

Your puppy should visit the vet monthly till it has completed its puppy vaccinations around 16 weeks. Then yearly for its annual checkup.

We recommend a local puppy school to help your puppy learn basic commands and to connect with other dogs and pups to continue and enhance its socialising.

We have been socialising the puppy with family and close friends, with our other dogs, our cats and some gentle farm animals.

Your puppy is still a baby so he will sleep quite a lot for now. Please dont feel you puppy should be awake and playing all day. Your puppy still needs lots of rest. When awake he can do gentle play time that should increase as the puppy grows. Do not encourage or allow your puppy to jump on and off things as this can affect their joints while they are still growing.

Yes your puppy is microchipped. We will transfer the microchip into your name. Please keep the microchip company updated with your details if you move or change your phone number or email.

Your puppy will be registered with Dogs Australia.  It will still need to be registered with your local shire or council. You need to take your microchip info to the shire to register your  puppy there.
